Let's Talk About Mental Health

Suicide is always a tragedy for the individual who takes his/her life but also for the family left behind. Sadly, over the past few months, I have done quite a few suicide crossing overs.

After a Johannesburg winter that included an explosion and an earthquake plus so much more, I could feel the emotional and psychological desperation that people have been and are still going through, so I headed off on a holiday to refresh my mind, body and soul.

We drove through kilometers of the Namaqualand flowers and remote regions of South Africa. Nature has an amazing power to heal the energy of all the sadness of this world. In the Northern Cape, a province with little rain and very small population, we were met with great hospitality and beautiful fields of wild flowers. Even in one of the driest regions, nature has the amazing power to produce miraculous and incredible beauty and blessings.

Always have faith in our ability, God's ability as well as nature's ability to heal, restore beauty and balance, and offer us unexpected gifts.Remember that you can have the worst days and months of your life and a few weeks, months or years later, you can have the best times of your life.

If you are feeling suicidal or know anyone who is feeling suicidal, remember that you don't need to struggle alone. Please reach out to a psychologist or a suicide help line for support. Keeping pushing through. Better days will come.

Wishing you love and light xx
